Umut Deniz has been long around music scene. He has played so many gigs in almost all styles such as latin, jazz, blues, funk, rock and also some Turkish music. Spent almost ten years in USA both as an architect and a musician. During his time abroad he studied jazz guitar with Paul Bollenback, played in Eubie Blake Jazz Foundation Big Band, played trio jazz concerts around Baltimore, attended blues jam sessions at the Full Moon Saloon Baltimore, New Haven Lounge and so on. During his time in Turkey he played regularly at Cafe Minor for four years, brought a large repertoire, trained ensemble and wrote compositions. During these times he also played with some well known musicians in either jam sessions or as guest.
