Since high school Ceren has sung as a soprano in several choirs and has been a vocalist for several pop, blues and hard rock bands. Because of her deep love and interest in jazz she began studying jazz performance at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory. Since September 2014 she has been studying vocal jazz performance and improvisation with Randy Esen and also worked on general vocal tecnique with Yıldız İbrahimova. Ceren took several lessons from award winning jazz vocalist Meltem Ege who is doing her doctoral degree in the USA.
