Gagarin is a quartet formed in 2015 by musicians who performed in different orchestras for many years playing jazz, Latin and soul. These musicians performed in various places like Nardis Jazz Club, The Badau, 60m2, Noasis Jazz Bar and Böcek. In 2016 and 2017, they entered the Young Jazz Competition where they were qualified to play at the “Parklarda Caz” event. Gagarin, gets its inspiration from legendary names from Esbjorn Svennson Trio to Bill Evans, Chick Korea or John Coltrane along with a lot of funk, alternative and fusion artists. They are currently working on their own compositions while playing at various scenes in Istanbul.
